Coaching Kids

Coaching Kids, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to bring life coaching skills and communication skills to kids and parents everywhere. Coaching Kids powerful programs are available to families, educational institutions, and community organizations that work with kids and parents.

In 2002, Coaching Kids partnered with a juvenile prison to bring its "Theater Without Walls" program to teenage boys. Here's what the participants said:

"I learned not to be be afraid of my feelings.
I learned that people are here to help.
I enjoyed being able to express myself in a civilized environment."

Life Coaching

Life coaching is a partnership between a coach and a client — where the client is looking to make deep and meaningful changes in their life to be more fulfilling and successful.

Life coaches hold kids and parents to be naturally creative, resourceful, and whole – kids and parents don’t need to be fixed! Coaches provide supportive deep listening with powerful questions, and encourage them to move forward in their lives.

"Coaching allowed me to see what I was doing to get in the way of the relationship I really wanted to have with my 'difficult' teen. As it turns out, he isn't difficult at all and we've been enjoying each other more than I thought we'd be able to, thanks to coaching."

Coaching Kids

Coaching Kids is committed to bringing life coaching skills to kids and parents. Life coaching skills are tools that help people to live and communicate in a more clear and purposeful manner.

A unique advantage of the Coaching Kids approach is that the parents and children are learning and growing together. The four core programs are:

• One-On-One Coaching for Kids and Parents (separately and together)
• Coaching Skills Training
• Life Skills Program for Kids
• Coach Training for Kids

Coaching Kids Orientation

We adjust and create programs to meet the needs of the environment, organization(s) and people involved.

After completing the Coaching Training session, kids and parents will have the opportunity to become a certified Coaching Kids coach.

Our goal is to make our programs and life coaching skills accessible to all schools and organizations working with kids and parents.
