Coaching Kids is creating alliances with a variety of different organizations on multiple levels. The primary focus of Coaching Kids is to bring the rewards of life coaching to as many parents and kids as possible. Our goal is to work with all organizations that work with kids and /or parents. Here are some of the ways we are working towards this:
- We provide coaching skills training to volunteers of other organizations that help kids or parents.
- We provide coaching skills education and training for kids and parents simultaneously, and life skills education for kids, through our original programs. We bring these programs into any situation that connects with parents and/or kids (ie: schools, churches, community programs, other non-profits, etc.)
- We provide a network of referrals for clients and alliances that may be seeking something that is better provided through another organization (ie: experiential education programs, therapeutic resources, special interests, etc.)
Current Partnership Programs
There are several different partnerships in the making. Please check back to see further examples as they are refined and put into place.
High Schools and Middle Schools
We have introduced coaching to some schools and the kids are very receptive to it. It seems that life coaching skills may help to supplement the missing components in our current educational environments. Bringing authentic personal development into the schools is a huge task, but we can help. This will perhaps be the place where we have the largest impact on kids' lives.
Daniels Fund
Coaching Kids is providing Coaching Skills Training to the Volunteer Daniel’s Fund College Coaches. They work with high school juniors who qualify scholastically to go to college, but may not go because of social and economic reasons. The Daniel’s Fund coaches work with the students to help them select a career, choose a college to attend, get funding and get accepted.
